Volunteering is a vital piece of the South Australian way of life generating vast community spirit and helping to make our neighborhoods welcoming, sound and inclusive. Through these agreements, the Office for Volunteers has worked in partnership with the volunteer community, to create a variety of resources, programs and events to help support and prosper volunteerism in South Australia. The Office for Volunteers provides advice to the Minister for Volunteers and delivers urge programs that contribute to the government’s priorities of building the capacity of community organizations to be sustainable in years to come, and encouraging all citizens to participate in community life and care for each other. Each year a range of speakers are invited to address the volunteer community.
