The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and gynecologists (RANZCOG) is dedicated to the establishment of tall standards of practice in obstetrics and gynecology and women’s health. RANZCOG is committed to the establishment and maintenance of the maximum feasible standards of practice in women’s health and provides programs in training, accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) that are responsive to the evolving health care needs of women. The overhead regional councils were established by the cog to further the objects of the College in Australia and Fresh Zealand. The library comprises a general collection and a rare book collection. In 1987 Dr Honest Forster offered his extensive medical history collection of books, journals, pamphlets and prints to the RACOG. The collection also includes meaningful publications from all over the world. A whole of 627 trainees were in the Fellowship training program during 2016. The Royal Australian and Fresh Zealand College of Obstetricians and gynecologists (RANZCOG) bestows honors and awards on individuals who have contributed to the labor of the College ardor women’s health more broadly. The Board manages the financial, legal and business operations of the organization and is supported in its activities by the Council and a range of committees. The RANZCOG Regulations guide the conduct and management of the College. Steve has served on Council for ten years and has had three terms on the RANZCOG Board. His first role with the College was as Chair of the MSW Training and Accreditation Committee, a position that he held for nine years. He has served on the RANZCOG Council for eight years, the end two as a member of the Board. She has been Chaired of the Fresh Zealand Training and Accreditation Committee for 10 years. She has been a convener of the Oral Examination over the last six years and a Fresh Zealand Council Member for four years. The functions and activities of the RANZCOG Board and Council are supported by approximately 60 committees and working parties, which confront regularly and make recommendations to the RANZCOG Board on a range of matters pertaining to women's health. All nominees, proposers and seconders must be resident in the pertinent region and be financial Fellows of the College at the time of a nomination being submitted. The College seeks to produce appropriate encourage to its trainees, sing applicants and members while also affording natural justice procedural fairness in circumstances where an individual is unhappy with a College decision. The review will be conducted by a separately constituted Review Committee, which will consider material available to the College, including in relation to adherence to College regulations, policies and procedures, as healthy as whether the principles of natural justice procedural fairness were followed. Decisions of the Appeals Committee are final, being notified to the RANZCOG Board.
