At Sustainable Focus we design, manage, and deliver energy projects in existing commercial buildings. - 46 kW solar power system installed on the roof of a council Civic Centre - $1.5 million lighting upgrade of a large hospital - $1 million lighting project across high run areas at three large University campuses - Energy audit of an aged care facility identifying 50% reduction in energy consumption. Some of our highlights are: - 1 million kWh reduction in annual energy consumption for a large research facility through a BMS (Building management system) tune up and the installation of variable speed drive on supply and exhaust fans. Our projects consistently deliver excellent results. We also do energy services training which is supports the upgrades we do by cultivating behavioral change and ensuring adequate communications and signage to support energy management which is tailored to organisational needs. Energy auditing is a service we provide where our specialists identify opportunities to reduce energy (and water) consumption and costs. We also tune building management systems to improve control over HVAC. Data logging of power consumption, temperature and occupancy patterns is incredibly useful for identifying potential energy savings in HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning). Metering systems which display energy consumption and generate data in real time. In addition to solar power and lighting our tool kit consists of real time monitoring. The panels we use are REC poly crystalline and of the highest quality instead of units imported from China like many other solar companies the REC panels are manufactured in Norway and are head and shoulders above the rest. We are solar specialists in both residential areas and commercial. Upgrading luminaires and controls and designing solutions room by room delivers savings of up to 60% per fitting.
