Windsor Calisthenics Club offers participants the opportunity to learn calisthenics techniques and skills whilst developing confidence, commitment, coordination, flexibility, discipline, fitness and friendships, all within a safe and laughter environment. Good, routine attendance and discipline are essential, as are punctual arrivals for class. Calisthenics is a team sport and cannot be perfected unless the complete team is give at every practice. Additional practices are also held in the precede up to competitions for all sections (excluding tidies). Each team is scheduled up to four surplus practices, as well as a stage practice at the Royalty theater. Hair is up and of the face, either in a ponytail or a bun (fringes are allowed). Your kid brings a drink (preferably water). The Registration Fee is due within two weeks of starting classes. They also include costume costs, hair and make up supplies, theater hire for our concerts and stage practices, as healthy as the entry fees for our teams to participate in competitions. Fees can either be paid in stuffed or on a weekly basis, by cash or EFT. Our Club Tracksuit is worn at Competitions, thus is a compulsory item. For the profit of the team, girls are advised to continue for the packed year until after the Last of Year Concert, or at least until competitions. Calisthenics is a team sport therefore the girls depend on each other. Every girl is very imperative to her team and so it is important for all participants to attend all practice sessions. The camp is organized and attended by the Committee and all students (except tidies) are asked to participate. Although the purpose of the camp is to learn routines and labor on technique, it also serves as an opportunity to construct friendships, support fellowship and to enable the younger students to work in a close relationship with the senior students (which in not conceivable in conventional class situations). Girls will be expected to attend some extra practices during the year. Extra Practices during the year are held before to competitions, with each team (excluding tidies) being scheduled up to four surplus practices, as healthy as a stage practice at the Royalty theater. Team Coaches will notify in writing of all additional practices. Each team (excluding tidies) will have a two hour stage practice in the lead up to Competitions. It is a chance for the girls to practice on the stage, without the nerves, and to also practice their stage balance. The Mid Year Rehearsal Concert is held prior to the commencement of the annual competitions. Its main purpose is that of full rehearsal for competitions, to offer the teams an opportunity to give their items before an audience under competition conditions and to present parents, families and friends a chance to view the work which the students have learned. Parents have an opportunity to have a massive say in helping determine how the club is run.
